The Community BBQ is an enjoyable time for all. The afternoon includes a soccer tournament and bouncy toys for children. Many local ranches put together soccer teams, and they play all afternoon. In the evening, guests enjoy a meal of meats, salads, cookies, baked beans, and lemonade. The meat is donated from local businesses and families. Much of the meat is produced by local 4-H and FFA members who show and then sell their animals at the county fair. The entire community is invited; the BBQ has hosted up to 400 people. It is a great meal and a relaxing afternoon!
This month at Life and Times, join us for a special screening of Before Wyoming: The West in 1776, directed by Geoff O'Gara. The documentary explores the overlooked history of the Northern Rockies and Great Plains during the American Revolution.
After the film, enjoy a complimentary light meal and discussion. Village bus transportation will be available from Baggs. We hope you'll join us for an evening of history, conversation, and community!
